ABOUT ICT

 WHAT IS ICT?

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is the use of computing and telecommunication technologies, systems and tools to facilitate the way information is created, collected, processed, transmitted and stored. The goal of ICT is to improve access to information and and make human-to-human, human-to-machine and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication easier and more efficient.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF ICT TO LEARNING?
It promotes student flexibility and autonomy. New technologies promote autonomous learning for students. With the incorporation of digital alternatives such as online courses, each student can learn at their own pace, optimising time and resources thanks to the flexibility provided by digitalisation and connectivity. ICT AND THE YOUTH

For young people, access to information means better access to capital, markets and training needed to pursue a career or studies; increased participation in political processes, and recognition of youth as responsible citizens in today's society.

HIV/AIDS AND THE YOUTH
There has been a decline in school enrolments as some infected students feel pressurised to leave, others quit because they are needed at home to care for sick relatives (especially girls) or are required to engage in income-generating activities. REGENERATIVE HEALTH

Regenerative health is the attainment of optimal physical and mental well being through the adoption of holistic healthy lifestyles that strengthen and renew the body and mind and prevent diseases.
